About The Position

The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) is seeking a Senior Market Research Analyst to design and execute market research, uncover audience drivers, and translate data into actionable insights that shape strategy and support BCSP's mission. This role involves leading end-to-end quantitative survey research, evaluating secondary research, analyzing complex datasets, and communicating findings to various stakeholders. The analyst will also manage multiple research projects and contribute to evolving research standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Analytics, Social Sciences, Business or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience with both primary and secondary research methods
  • Proven ability to write, program and field surveys
  • Proficiency and experience in common research and analytics tools (e.g., Qualtrics or similar survey platforms)
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights, recommendations, and compelling narratives for stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and project management skills; ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., DisplayR, SPSS, Stata)
  • Familiarity with nonprofit, association, EHS or credentialing environments

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute end-to-end quantitative survey research, including questionnaire development, programming, fielding, analysis, and reporting.
  • Evaluate and synthesize secondary research (internal datasets, industry reports, public sources) to support evidence-based decisions.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets using appropriate statistical techniques to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Combine qualitative and quantitative inputs to develop clear, decision-ready insights.
  • Create clear research reports, visualizations, and presentations that make findings easy to understand.
  • Present insights to technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring the message to the stakeholder and decision.
  • Manage multiple research projects, including scoping, timelines, quality checks, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Help evolve research standards, frameworks, and best practices to improve consistency and impact.
