Medtronic is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Market Development Manager to join our Surgical Robotics business unit. This individual contributor role, reporting to the Global Senior Marketing Director, is pivotal in driving the marketing strategy for specific surgical specialties, managing clinical claims, and promoting clinical evidence to maximize the impact and market penetration of our robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the surgical and medical landscape, coupled with a proven track record in strategic marketing and evidence-based promotion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in marketing, market development or similar or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, market development or similar.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment (for roles below Principal level).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust marketing strategies for the use of robotic technology in designated surgical specialties.
  • Craft targeted messages, identify key market segments, and deploy marketing tactics to enhance brand visibility and adoption among healthcare professionals.
  • Oversee the development and substantiation of claims related to our robotic systems. Work closely with legal, regulatory, and clinical teams to ensure claims are accurate, compliant, and effectively support marketing strategies.
  • Lead initiatives to communicate and leverage clinical evidence that underscores the efficacy and safety of our robotic systems. Develop materials and campaigns to disseminate findings through various channels, including digital platforms, conferences, and direct engagements with key opinion leaders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive awareness, customer engagement, and adoption of Medtronic's surgical solutions.
  • Continuously gather and analyze market data, competitor activities, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions and adjust marketing plans accordingly.
