The Senior Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production/welding fixtures to ensure dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and reliable operation. This role involves fabricating, modifying, and improving welding fixtures, as well as designing, building, and maintaining storage racks, carts, and workstations to enhance material flow, organization, and ergonomics. The technician will operate manual machine tools, perform precision machining, and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models. Welding (MIG/TIG) and fabricating steel and aluminum components are also key aspects of the role, along with inspecting fixtures and fabricated components for dimensional accuracy and functionality. Collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations to identify improvements and maintaining an organized, safe fabrication and machine shop are essential.
