This role is for a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor who will actively monitor process indicators to ensure the identification, collaboration, and effective implementation of necessary actions to achieve department objectives. The supervisor will monitor employee performance, provide regular feedback, empower, mentor, and coach employees, conduct performance reviews, and assist employees in setting goals. They will also mentor other supervisors, align their goals with organizational objectives, identify change initiatives, and engage employees in positively implementing and communicating change. The position is responsible for assessing department training needs, overseeing the department training program, and driving training initiatives. Additionally, the role involves proactively and effectively addressing personnel issues, settling differences equitably and productively, auditing department processes, and identifying/implementing action plans to address gaps. The supervisor will coordinate and provide input to engineering staff, participate in new product launches, and justify staffing and capital needs through data collection and reporting. They will utilize and teach advanced process improvement techniques and Lean Manufacturing tools, implement safety initiatives, and promote safety standards. The role requires modeling, teaching, and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. Other duties as assigned.
