As a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor at our Brooklyn Center Operations facility, you’ll oversee the production of intricate, high-quality components for implantable medical devices. Working closely with a skilled team, you’ll ensure operational capacity meets today’s demands and tomorrow’s growth - supporting existing products and introducing new portfolios. Through the Medtronic Performance System, you’ll champion improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost by driving problem-solving, implementing solutions, and executing strategic initiatives. Requirements

  • Requires 3+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understand basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
  • Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
  • Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
  • Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
  • Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
