About The Position

This role leads and oversees multiple production value streams within a manufacturing area, directing and coordinating Production Supervisors and their teams. The position is responsible for driving operational excellence across assigned areas by optimizing productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and compliance. It fosters a high-performance culture focused on safety, engagement, and continuous improvement. The company is focused on developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments, particularly in vision care, and is looking for individuals passionate about improving and expanding on the possibilities of vision treatments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Science, or related field is required
  • A minimum of 6 years of manufacturing experience is required
  • Experience managing supervisors or multi-area operations
  • FDA/regulated industry experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational management skills
  • Proven ability to lead leaders and manage across value streams
  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing systems
  • Knowledge of FDA/GMP requirements
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Data-driven decision making
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and develops Production Supervisors across multiple value streams
  • Drives alignment and accountability across shifts and departments
  • Owns performance for safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Monitors production metrics and drives actions to meet targets
  • Standardizes best practices across areas
  • Leads capacity planning and scheduling execution
  • Supports Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives
  • Interfaces with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, HR, and Maintenance
  • Ensures successful new product introductions and validations
  • Develops leadership pipeline and succession planning
  • Ensures compliance with FDA, GMP, and company policies
  • Leads audit readiness and resolves compliance gaps
