The role requires maintaining manufacturing schedule visibility across concurrent programs and communicating status to leadership. Additionally, the position involves serving as the primary manufacturing point of contact for program office, engineering, contracts, and supply chain teams, participating in program reviews, and coordinating with various departments to resolve technical issues, monitor material availability, and ensure quality compliance. Resource and workforce management, including identifying staffing needs, aligning workforce to build plans, and managing Direct Labor Utilization (DLU) targets, is also a key responsibility. The role includes risk and issue management, preparing status briefings, maintaining program manufacturing documentation, and providing inputs for reports and customer deliverables.
