About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for safety and quality minded Senior Manufacturing Managers (Level L) to lead parts of Boeing Commercial Airplane's 737 Program teams in Renton, Washington. The position is for variable Shifts including Shift 1 or Shift 2, will be determined at the time of offer. This role develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives. Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers. A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change
  • Ability to work any shift including weekends and overtime

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
  • 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost
  • 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment
