About The Position

Own the improvement and scalability of manufacturing processes for complex ETO/CTO HVAC products by leading technical projects that improve safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and cost. The Manufacturing Engineer designs and implements manufacturing solutions, including tooling, fixtures, equipment, and process improvements, to enable operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering within complex manufacturing environments such as HVAC, automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or similar industries.
  • Proven experience leading technical projects involving tooling, fixtures, jigs, equipment, layouts, or process improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly processes, manufacturing methods, tooling design, fabrication processes, and production optimization.
  • Experience managing projects from concept through implementation, including supplier coordination, commissioning, and production validation.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and 3D CAD models and translate requirements into manufacturable solutions.

  • Experience with ERP/MES systems and manufacturing documentation is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical manufacturing projects from opportunity identification through implementation, including tooling, jigs, fixtures, equipment, workstations, and process improvements.
  • Design and implement manufacturing solutions that improve assembly efficiency, ergonomics, quality, and production capacity.
  • Optimize and sustain manufacturing processes by improving cycle times, reducing process variation, eliminating bottlenecks, and increasing production performance.
  • Analyze manufacturing constraints and capacity requirements to identify improvement opportunities and support business growth.
  • Develop manufacturing concepts and specifications for tooling, fixtures, equipment, and automation solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Manage project execution including scope definition, timelines, budgets, technical requirements, supplier coordination, installation, validation, and production handover.
  • Support product and process changes by assessing manufacturing impacts and implementing improvements to maintain production performance.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing standards including process documentation, work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans, and ERP/MES data.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve production issues and improve process capability.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Industrialization, and Supply Chain teams to deliver sustainable manufacturing improvements.
