About The Position

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity with a high-growth aerospace and defense technology company in Torrance, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing engineer who has experience building complex hardware and scaling manufacturing capacity from prototype to production. You will own critical manufacturing processes, work closely with engineering teams, and help establish production capabilities for advanced aerospace systems. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience and a strong track record of taking ownership of technical projects and delivering measurable results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience with complex hardware.
  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling manufacturing capacity from 0 to 1.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware fabrication, assembly, testing, or manufacturing process development.
  • Experience transitioning prototype or development processes into scalable production.
  • Experience with manufacturing documentation, process development, tooling, or DFM.
  • Strong problem-solving and project ownership skills.
  • Ability to work on-site five days per week in Torrance, CA.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person and able to obtain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or advanced manufacturing.
  • Experience with composites, solid rocket motors, bonding, epoxy, or specialty materials processing.
  • Experience with CVD, heat treating, machining, or other advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Experience scaling production from prototypes to hundreds or thousands of units per year.
  • Experience with tooling and fixture design.
  • Experience creating manufacturing work instructions, test procedures, and mBOMs.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth hardware engineering environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects using a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Own manufacturing processes for critical components and subsystems from development through production.
  • Build and scale manufacturing processes for complex hardware.
  • Transition prototype and development processes into reliable, production-ready operations.
  • Develop manufacturing capacity to support production at scale.
  • Create and improve build instructions, work instructions, test procedures, safety documentation, and manufacturing BOMs.
  • Partner with design engineers to improve Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and production readiness.
  • Develop tooling, fixtures, assembly processes, and manufacturing methods.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and improve quality, throughput, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Support hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, and process validation.
  • Identify production constraints and implement practical engineering solutions.
  • Lead projects independently and take ownership of measurable manufacturing outcomes.
  • Support the development and expansion of manufacturing operations.
