About The Position
The purpose of a Senior Manufacturing Engineer is to bring advanced technical expertise, leadership, and strategic guidance to the optimization and improvement of manufacturing processes within an organization. Senior Manufacturing Engineers play a crucial role in driving innovation, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality in the production processes. A Senior Manufacturing Engineer will provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, mentorship, and guidance to other process engineers fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, optimization techniques, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in the English language.
Nice To Haves
- CNC machining experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in process engineering, serving as a subject matter expert within the organization.
- Mentor and guide junior process engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Drive innovation by incorporating industry best practices and staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends in process engineering.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of manufacturing advancements.
- Manage and oversee complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines, production, quality control, and R&D teams to ensure the seamless integration of processes.
- Provide technical insights and guidance to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Work in collaboration with the quality control team to establish and maintain robust quality assurance measures.
- Ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality specifications.
- Analyze complex engineering challenges, develop effective solutions, and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the design, implementation, or optimization of processes.
