About The Position

As the Manufacturing Engineer you will drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost reduction, and continuous improvement within an assigned area. This role applies Lean Manufacturing principles and supports production through hands-on problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
• Solid internship or co-op experience
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of experience as a manufacturing engineer in a production or assembly environment
• Exposure to CNC machining or machine shop environments a plus

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain Lean/continuous improvement principles in the department
• Participate in productivity and cost-reduction efforts to improve process and lower cost
• Develop safe, ergonomic processes; work with supervision and maintenance to correct unsafe conditions
• Analyze operations and equipment utilization to maximize quality and output
• Support production builds, working closely with Production Supervisors, Materials, and Design Engineers to resolve issues
• Coordinate new product introductions — partnering with Design Engineering and the production floor, establishing shop routes, and evaluating capacity needs
• Provide technical support and monitor critical processes
• Provide backup support for department foreman or scheduler as needed
• Support ISO9001 compliance efforts
