About The Position

Veeco is the world leader in Ion Beam Deposition Technology and we have been hard at work further advancing the technology to make a material difference in the success of our customers. Join Veeco and help bring the next-generation Ion Beam Deposition (IBD) platform from development into full-scale production. This is a unique opportunity to work on the world’s most advanced deposition tool that promises to revolutionize metal deposition for the semiconductor industry. This new technology will deliver a step function improvement for memory and logic devices. We are looking for motivated, intelligent, and dedicated engineers that can bring these sophisticated semiconductor systems to volume production. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer IV, you will play a key role in establishing the manufacturing process, designing the process and sequence that this complex system will follow from assembly, testing, and transportation. Working closely with hardware, Quality, Reliability, software, service, and manufacturing engineering teams, you'll drive manufacturing readiness initiatives, support PFMEA-based risk reduction efforts, and help transition traditional manufacturing methods to scalable modular build and test strategies. This senior-level individual contributor role offers a unique opportunity not only to hone your technical skills but also lead a complex set of deliverables visible across the enterprise. You'll take point on complex manufacturing challenges, drive technical decisions through data and expertise, and help develop the processes, controls, and manufacturing systems required to deliver repeatable, high-quality products at scale. If you enjoy solving complex technical problems, partnering with the smartest physicists and engineers in the industry, look no further, this is the job for you. Our vast portfolio of products and patents supporting Ion Beam Deposition (IBD) will transform Veeco and the rest of the industry, and you will have the opportunity to play a key role. Please contact us, we'd love to hear from you.
