Senior Manufacturing Engineer
About The Position
Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) is hiring for Senior Manufacturing Engineers to join the Production Engineering organization in North Charleston, SC. This role involves developing and implementing production and tooling methodologies, participating in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions, and developing conceptual designs while maintaining program architecture for build. The engineer will lead and implement manufacturing plans, conduct producibility and variation analyses, and assist in providing producibility information for project plans and documenting best practices. Responsibilities also include analyzing design/build concepts, resolving technical problems impacting performance, cost, or schedule, coordinating and implementing new engineering principles and technologies, and validating production readiness of solutions. The role also involves implementing lean principles and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience related to the development, selection, and/or revision of parts, materials, and process specifications for production testing, electrical subsystems, aircraft interiors, and other aircraft systems.
- Experience in planning and production control processes.
- Experience with 787 structures and/or systems.
Responsibilities
