What You Will Do: The Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Disks will provide operational engineering support for sonic machining and sonic inspection processes. Program and troubleshoot various machining operations such as heat treat prep, sonic machining on large and small lathes, and semi-finish machining Develop and improve processes which support the growth curve and cost reduction targets through cost of poor quality and nonconformance reductions Leverage manufacturing innovations to improve cost, delivery, and quality of aerospace disk forgings; assist with problem solving during manufacturing related investigation Progress Manufacturing Readiness Level initiatives on select part numbers Create First Article Inspection packages for disk parts Provide finished part support to Pratt & Whitney Canada, MTU, and other customers Support internal and external audit activities
