As a Compensation Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work with global clients to address their most complex people challenges and ultimately improve and drive sustainable business results.

Requirements

  • Successful delivery of global compensation projects - demonstrate technical excellence and business driven approach to solving complex challenges
  • Demonstrate technical excellence in the process automation and AI solution design and development
  • Generate revenue by identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients; identify potential risks and opportunities to improve processes and acquire new business; contribute to pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations
  • Lead project work streams from planning to implementation - manage project resources and budgets effectively while overseeing multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Influence clients and stakeholders to gain support for major change initiatives and/or decisions
  • Manage, coach, and develop junior resources and peers, focusing on technical and client service skills to develop careers
  • A bachelor’s degree in related field; MBA, MST, MAcc or JD/LLM preferred
  • 8+ years’ experience in expatriate or payroll services: Big 4, global management consultancy firm, niche consultancy or in-house role with exposure to large-scale projects
  • SPHR, GPHR or CPP certification or progress toward certification
  • Understanding of automated tax-processing systems and tax laws
  • Understand technical solutions for workflow automation and AI solution development
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to confidently influence colleagues and clients at all levels
  • Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of foreign assignment matters (payroll, accounts payable, relocation, tax, and compensation and benefits)
  • Knowledge of international compensation calculations (hypothetical tax, allowances and lump sum payments, payroll-related advances, home country housing deductions, etc.)
  • Understanding of world affairs, geography and economic issues
  • Understand workflow automation and machine learning.
  • Language skills or international living/working experience

Responsibilities

  • With the Compensation team, you’ll join a talented group of professionals that provide global compensation advisory and compliance.
  • Focusing on large-scale projects, you’ll work with clients and the compensation team to design and implement technology solutions both internally and externally.
  • You will also work with tax preparers to coordinate tax authorization lists and answer questions (earnings, remittance of foreign taxes, tax equalization and settlement payments).
  • You’ll provide year-end compensation summaries, submit totalization letters, perform quality reviews on compensation, complete tax-bridging, assure accurate processing and delivery of hypothetical tax, allowance and lump sum payments, payroll-related advances, and home country housing deductions and research discrepancies.
  • You will be expected to have excellent communication skills, integrate into and lead new teams, and manage end-to-end global projects.
