American Express’ Global Advertising & Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing and experiences. We have an ambitious goal: to be the most creative department in the Fortune 500 and we aim to deliver on that by doing work that is both creative and effective. Within GABM sits the Global Brand Content & Media team who is responsible for building best in class brand content across channels and audiences (including Amex’s internal creative agency, OnBrand), driving impact and innovation through global media and analytics, and delivering cultural and brand platforms that bring the Powerful Backing of American Express to life. The Senior Manager of US Media will lead media strategy & planning for Amex’s sports sponsorships and tentpoles, ensuring seamless brand integration and pull through across channels. They will develop a cohesive, cross-sport media strategy and approach, as well as partner with Media Investment & Optimization, Brand Content, Brand Social, Sponsorships and the IAT to manage and execute all paid media tied to our official league sponsorships and other sports-related media.
