About The Position

The Finance Senior Manager – US FP&A will be part of the Global Commercial Finance team and will report to the Finance Lead – US FP&A. This role involves monitoring, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business performance across US Commercial, with proactive identification of issues, opportunities, and challenges. The position requires preparing regular and ad-hoc reporting (revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses) and performing supporting analysis to explain underlying business dynamics and results. It also involves creating and maintaining sophisticated financial models, trend and scenario analysis, dashboards, and reports to support the business with financial and strategic initiatives and insights. The role includes developing data visualization content to clearly and effectively convey the story inside the data, supporting finance team with close processes including operating expense analysis and other P&L line items, and preparing materials for financial review with senior leadership. Additionally, the Senior Manager will assist with required forecasts and Annual Operating Plan submission, including report generation, template management, and analysis of forecast submission across all aspects of the P&L. The position requires preparing and presenting executive-level reports, presentations, and materials to communicate key financial insights and support decision making. Collaboration with cross-functional and global teams is essential to provide transparency and insights into financial performance, as well as to effectively and constructively scrutinize and challenge assumptions. The role also drives continuous improvement of financial processes, tools, and reporting to enhance the strategic decision-making framework across the business. As a member of the US Commercial Finance team, this role will also support various US Operations and US Commercial Finance cross-functional improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with existing and established company internal controls, and financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years work experience in a corporation in a financial planning and analysis function with strong track records of business partnering.
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or economics.
  • Experience in commercial FP&A, modeling and forecasting tools is required.
  • Deep understanding of finance.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex, global financial landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts to senior leadership and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a diverse set of priorities in a fast paced, high-energy, evolving environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build collaborative relationships with peers and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically, entrepreneurial mindset, and translate data into actionable insights.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, and FP&A tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ThinkCell and PowerPoint).
  • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet software (EXCEL) and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Anaplan, OneStream) and the ability to visualize financial data.
  • All applicants must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
