About The Position

The Senior Manager, Transfer Agency Training is responsible for leading the Transfer Agency (TA) training program, including the development, facilitation, and coordination of formal training initiatives for the department. Additionally, this role collaborates with stakeholders across the TA to define training roadmaps and partners with clients who utilize TA systems to support training needs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in communication, accounting, or similar field.
  • 3-5 years of management and leadership experience
  • 5-10+ years of experience in Mutual Funds with training experience or similar background.
  • Equivalent education and experience will be considered.

  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adobe Acrobat.
  • Advanced technical skills with the ability to provide effective virtual training sessions (e-learning, training videos).
  • Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to maintain strong intercompany relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the design and development of professional quality presentations and training materials to include quick reference guides, online learning resources, PowerPoint presentations, and other training materials.
  • Manages a team of trainers and ensures they are designing, developing, and facilitating training as needed by the sub-departments within the Transfer Agency.
  • Maintains and tracks associate training records.
  • Gathers training requests from all departments and prioritizes the development and deployment based on need.
  • Maintains quality service and continuously enhances job knowledge through participation in internal trainings, professional development opportunities, and Transfer Agency initiatives.
  • Oversees the design, development, and delivery of professional training materials, including quick reference guides, online resources, and presentations.
  • Manages and leads a team of training professionals to support training needs across Transfer Agency sub-departments.
  • Assists in developing internal training materials from documented processes.
  • Works with key stakeholders across all Transfer Agency departments on process improvement opportunities uncovered during training development and delivery.
  • Continually updates training materials to reflect changes in industry standards and departmental processes.
  • Manages associates within department including, but not limited to, hiring, training, and developing associates, delegating work assignments, writing, and conducting performance appraisals, salary recommendations, coaching and counseling, and administering corrective actions.
  • Conducts one-on-one and team meetings with associates on a regular basis to discuss new procedures, problems, and issues.
  • Establishes team and individual goals for department.
  • Fosters performance of associates and the processes used by them; holds the associates accountable for their work.
  • Partners with internal teams to understand upcoming new hire needs, process or system deployments and/or releases, which roles or stakeholders the changes will impact, and what aspects need to be trained.
  • Mentors associates through instruction, coaching, providing real-time on-the-job experiences, modeling effective practices, and advising on methods used.
  • Collaborates with key organizational stakeholders to design and improve course materials, reviewing feedback for improvement ideas, and supporting technology and hardware setup.
  • Contact as needed with team and internal teams regarding general information, resolution of issues, inquiries, or reporting requirements.
  • May perform other duties as required and assigned.
