Senior Manager, Technical Partner Solutions

PricelineToronto, ON
CA$125,000 - CA$145,000Hybrid

About The Position

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office. Why this role matters Priceline Partner Solutions powers travel experiences for some of the world's most recognised brands through a robust API platform. As Senior Manager, Technical Partner Solutions, you will be the primary technical owner for a portfolio of strategic API partners. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of technology, partnerships, and product. You will be expected not only to own your partner relationships deeply, but to bring a strategic perspective to how the team evolves and how we scale what works. This role has a clear path toward people management as the team grows. What you will do Own the end-to-end technical relationship with a portfolio of strategic API partners, from integration and onboarding through to post-launch performance and growth. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for partners, handling API questions, troubleshooting integration issues, and guiding partners toward effective solutions. Monitor and analyze API performance metrics to identify trends, surface issues proactively, and drive improvements before they become partner-facing problems. Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to advocate for partner needs and support the adoption of new API features and capabilities. Lead structured technical reviews with partners, translating data into clear and actionable insights. Create and maintain documentation covering integration best practices, onboarding processes, and key performance benchmarks. Contribute to process improvements that make onboarding faster, integrations more stable, and partner experiences more consistent. Manage multiple partner relationships and workstreams simultaneously without losing attention to detail or follow-through. Bring a strategic lens to partner engagement. Think beyond the immediate integration and help shape the long-term partnership roadmap. Contribute to team development by sharing knowledge, setting standards, and helping to build a high-performing technical account management function. Play an active role in how the team is structured, how we approach new partner types, and where we invest in process improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong technical foundation: Comfortable reading API documentation, working with JSON, and troubleshooting integration issues independently.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences - partners, product teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-directed: You identify problems before they escalate and follow through without needing to be reminded.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity: The environment moves fast and the playbook is still being written in many areas.
  • A collaborative team player who understands that the best outcomes come from working across functions, not working in silos.
  • High standards for quality and accountability: You take ownership of your partner relationships and the outcomes they produce.
  • Intellectually curious: You want to understand how things work, not just what the output is.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about partner relationships, not just resolving today's issue, but shaping what the partnership looks like in 12 to 18 months.
  • Comfortable leading conversations with senior stakeholders and contributing to program-level decisions.
  • Early indicators of leadership: You naturally raise the bar for those around you, share knowledge generously, and help others develop.
  • Ability to zoom out from day-to-day execution and contribute to how the team operates, not just what it delivers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hotel, travel, or hospitality APIs or distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools such as Grafana, Superset, Splunk, or New Relic.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Postman, or similar tools for querying and testing.
  • Experience working with distributed or cross-functional international teams.
