About The Position

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition serves as Venbrook Group’s enterprise recruiting lead, functioning as a strategic partner to division presidents, senior leaders, and the CHRO across all business units. This role owns the full talent acquisition lifecycle enterprise-wide, including leadership hiring, individual contributor searches, TA infrastructure, and workforce planning support. Operating as either a solo TA function or a team lead, the Senior Manager brings deep insurance industry knowledge, strong executive presence, and the operational discipline to run a high-volume, multi-division recruiting program with precision and professionalism.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience; insurance industry experience required.
  • Demonstrated expertise recruiting across multiple insurance disciplines including commercial lines, claims, wholesale/E&S, and employee benefits.
  • Experience operating as a solo or embedded TA function within a multi-entity or holding company structure preferred.
  • Proven track record in executive and leadership-level recruiting.
  • Proficiency with Workday Recruiting or comparable enterprise ATS.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable building and presenting recruiting metrics to senior leadership.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; high standard for professional output.
  • Experience with post-acquisition HR or TA integration a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required; insurance background required.
  • Leadership or team management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary talent acquisition partner for all Venbrook divisions including Venbrook Insurance Services, Brooks Insurance Group, Carl Warren & Company, DMA Claims, and OneSource.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for roles ranging from individual contributors to senior leadership, including C-suite and Director-level searches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with division leaders and hiring managers, acting as a trusted advisor on market conditions, compensation, and candidate assessment.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach, industry networks, job boards, and referral programs.
  • Produce candidate summaries, overview packages, and written assessments to support interview and decision-making processes.
  • Own the ATS (Workday Recruiting) including requisition management, candidate data integrity, and system optimization.
  • Produce and deliver weekly recruiting reports to the CHRO and HR leadership, including pipeline health, time-to-fill, and hiring activity by division.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of a centralized job description repository, ensuring all JDs are current, compliant, and aligned with internal compensation structures.
  • Partner with HR and compensation teams to evaluate market data and develop competitive offer packages.
  • Support post-acquisition TA integration activities as Venbrook grows through M&A.
  • Manage and mentor junior recruiting staff as the TA team expands.
  • Drive employer branding, candidate experience, and diversity sourcing initiatives across the enterprise.
