About The Position

The Farmer's Dog is seeking a Senior Manager of Talent Operations to serve as the connective tissue of their Talent Acquisition function. This role will own the systems, contracts, workflows, data, and day-to-day operational infrastructure that enables recruiters to operate efficiently and provide an exceptional experience for candidates and employees. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Talent Acquisition, with close collaboration with TA leaders, Recruiters, Recruiting Coordinators, other HR subfunctions, and Hiring Managers across the business. The position sits at the intersection of systems, process, analytics, and recruiting execution, playing a key supporting role in executive-level hiring.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in talent operations, recruiting coordination, or HR ops.
  • Strong TA domain expertise.
  • Hands-on ATS administration experience (Greenhouse preferred).
  • 4+ years of people management experience leading a high-performing team, supporting day-to-day execution, setting goals, and coaching for growth and development.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end recruiting with a proven track record of improving processes, systems, and workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience using TA data & dashboards to generate clear, actionable insights.
  • Passionate about AI and automation tools (e.g., Gem, Calendly, Zapier, Claude), with a proven focus on driving efficiency and scale.
  • Detail-oriented and operationally rigorous, able to manage ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Strong communicator who builds trust, handles sensitive information with discretion, and cares deeply about candidate experience.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, naturally curious and proactive self-starter, constantly on the lookout for new opportunities and solutions.
  • An owner, with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, thrives as a self-starter and excels in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the TA tech stack (Greenhouse, CRM, Gem, Brighthire, Candidate.fyi, LinkedIn, Built-In, sourcing, scheduling), including configuration, workflows, permissions, and integrations to drive speed, consistency, and data integrity.
  • Assess the design of existing end-to-end recruiting processes, looking for continuous improvement opportunities and building/maintaining a centralized TA playbook to standardize best practices.
  • Drive adoption of AI and build automated workflows across sourcing, screening, and coordination to increase efficiency and recruiter capacity without compromising the candidate experience. Collaborate with stakeholders in Humans, Finance, and IT to ensure scalable processes.
  • Partner with People Analytics to leverage reporting and dashboards to generate actionable insights that improve hiring processes and outcomes.
  • Directly manage and develop a team of TA coordinators and/or specialists, providing coaching, clear direction, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with the VP of TA on executive searches, supporting sourcing and candidate experience.
