About The Position

This role is an opportunity to lead teams building software that directly improves how OCI supports global data center infrastructure, reduces operational friction, increases automation, and enables OCI to scale efficiently. The senior manager will be capable of managing highly talented engineers concentrated in Nashville in a high-paced environment to develop world-class software. The manager needs to be hands-on and able to build and understand code. Growth in this role means being able to deliver results in a timely manner, assessing risks and defining a mitigation plan, and making sure the deliverables are of the highest quality. The primary focus for this position will be on Operating Systems (kernel, uboot, firmware), robotic (ROS2/DDS), assurance (IMA, TPM, Veraison), Security (Verified Boot, SecureBoot). This role works closely with product, infrastructure, security, hardware, and platform teams, as well as external silicon and hardware vendors. You will be deeply hands-on, working on early prototypes through production-ready platform software and technical standards. Requirements

  • Experience managing engineers.
  • Ability to be hands-on and build/understand code.
  • Experience with Operating Systems (kernel, uboot, firmware).
  • Experience with robotic systems (ROS2/DDS).
  • Experience with assurance technologies (IMA, TPM, Veraison).
  • Experience with security technologies (Verified Boot, SecureBoot).
