Senior Manager, Systems/Application Design

Celestica International LP•Austin, TX

About The Position

The Senior Manager, System Test works with cross-functional teams of design engineers, customers, supply chain, and project managers to test and validate rack-level system solutions and ensure new product release readiness. The role manages engineers responsible for system integration testing and reliability, and owns the setup, function, and validation of test systems for complex, high-end servers and hyperscale compute and network racks, including applications and operating systems. The position provides guidance on system integration and reliability verification plans, test cases, and test coverage for storage, GPU, and networking systems. The role leads comprehensive validation and integration of components in advanced AI compute racks, including hardware and software compatibility, connectivity, performance, security, reliability, cost effectiveness, and resilience. It oversees test-system setup and execution, qualification and integration of rack components, smart PDU configuration, rack-level management, lab racking and stacking, documentation, cross-functional collaboration, test automation, AI-enabled workflow improvements, troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis. The Senior Manager provides technical leadership to engineers and participates in project planning, scheduling, and reporting. The work is performed in a normal office environment, may involve extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration, and frequently requires repetitive manual computer-related movements. Occasional travel may be required.
