About The Position

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management, leads execution of complex, high-priority programs across Walmart’s Ambient Supply Chain portfolio. This role drives automation, network expansion, and strategic capital initiatives from business-case approval through design, construction, operational readiness, and go-live. The Senior Manager connects cross-functional teams, manages risk and dependencies, and ensures investments deliver intended business outcomes. The team leads Walmart’s supply chain Program Management Office (PMO) by delivering data-driven solutions that optimize capacity, capital, and network value. They collaborate across stakeholders to enhance supply chain execution, ensuring inventory profitability and alignment with strategic goals. Focused on continuous improvement, the team identifies and resolves constraints while promoting innovation and efficiency. They manage supplier and partner relationships, oversee performance, and support operational excellence. Leveraging leadership, communication, and project management skills, the team advances Walmart’s commitment to operational effectiveness and sustainable growth within a dynamic supply chain environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain processes and driving operational improvements.
• Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and develop effective resolutions for supply chain disruptions.
• Ability to lead programs and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis to support decision-making and process optimization.
• Strong program management experience delivering complex, multi-year initiatives.
• Supply chain, automation, engineering, construction, or network transformation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong executive communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accountability for execution and results.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
• 2 years’ experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure efficient merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers.
• Analyze data from multiple stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and network efficiencies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction strategies.
• Lead multiple concurrent automation, network, and capital programs from approval through go-live.
• Drive scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and delivery of approved business outcomes.
• Coordinate Engineering, Operations, Construction, Real Estate, Finance, Product/Tech, and other partners.
• Identify and resolve execution barriers while providing clear visibility to risks, decisions, and dependencies.
• Support development and execution of strategic initiatives across the Ambient Supply Chain network.
