About The Position

This role serves as a subject matter expert in Supply Chain Management, with in-depth knowledge of project management. The Senior Manager will lead all aspects of the Supply Chain acquisition process from proposal stage through program award and execution. Key responsibilities include market analysis, strategic sourcing, managing business unit cost, schedule, and technical performance, and ensuring L3Harris and Customer objectives are met. The position involves determining the feasibility of materials and components, supporting product development, and managing supplier relationships to achieve corporate goals. The role requires a strong understanding of baseline centric execution and Change Management, including reviewing project status, budgets, and forecasts. The Senior Manager will also lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of Supply Chain Professionals, driving supply chain transformation and improvement projects. This includes functional and operational experience to define business requirements, identify pain points, and drive best-in-class processes. Responsibilities also include staffing, recruiting, training, talent development, engagement, retention, negotiation expertise for contract vehicles, managing contractual milestones, and ensuring supplier capacity and capabilities. The role involves applying innovation to solve complex problems, identifying areas for supplier performance improvement and cost reduction, initiating corrective actions, and providing timely and accurate Supply Chain status reports to management and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience, OR Graduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to obtain US Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the Supply Chain acquisition process from proposal stage through Program award and execution.
  • Analyze markets and perform strategic sourcing to align with business goals.
  • Manage Business Unit cost, schedule, and technical performance, ensuring L3Harris and Customer objectives are achieved.
  • Determine feasibility of material, components, specifications, or requirements and support product development activities.
  • Review status of projects, budgets, forecasts, EVMS; prepare status reports.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage strategic relationships with suppliers.
  • Manage cross-functional relationships to integrate the supply chain team into program development and execution.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of Supply Chain Professionals.
  • Develop, drive, and execute supply chain transformation and improvement projects.
  • Use hands-on, cross-functional approaches to identify pain points and drive improvements.
  • Drive best-in-class supply chain processes and efficiencies.
  • Responsible for staffing, recruiting, training, talent development, engagement & retention of employees.
  • Draft and negotiate contract vehicles including Subcontracts, Letter Subcontracts, Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements and Sole Source Agreements.
  • Establish & manage major contractual milestones, such as preliminary and critical reviews and other contractual schedule goals.
  • Analyze supplier capacity and capabilities and ensure supplier ability to supply parts.
  • Adjust material flow for adequate line fill and inventory optimization.
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex problems and identify areas for supplier performance improvement and cost reduction.
  • Initiate corrective action measures when necessary.
  • Provide timely and accurate Supply Chain status appropriate to various levels of L3Harris Management and external customers.
  • Manage Business Unit performance in the areas of technical scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Manage complex subcontracts, including hardware, software, complex services subcontracts, and follow-on/production subcontracts.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide array of professional levels and functions.
  • Lead, direct, and review the work of direct report(s) to maintain workflow and productivity and ensure weekly objectives are achieved.
  • Manage department and program budgets and support explanation of variances in monthly performance.
  • Support Small Business initiatives.
  • Generate spending plans, payment forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Follow strategic direction set by Program and functional leadership.
  • Travel to site.
