About The Position

This role manages end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficient merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment centers. The Senior Manager will be responsible for directing resolutions, responding to escalations, analyzing data to improve network efficiencies, and providing data for supplier compliance. They will also research and analyze root causes of exceptions in shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns, and conduct performance reviews of merchandising departments, distribution centers, and suppliers. Additionally, this role oversees relationships with external parties, acting as the main point of contact, communicating expectations, consolidating findings, leading audits, and utilizing scorecards to measure and correct performance. The Senior Manager will also assist senior leadership in selecting service providers. This position drives improvements in supply chain execution by approving flow paths, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve goals, tracking goods, presenting recommendations, identifying disruptions, and developing resolutions. The role also provides field-level direction and guidance for operations, supervises liaisons, communicates expectations to suppliers and transporters, and addresses performance issues. Furthermore, the Senior Manager directs supply chain flow process improvement efforts, contributes to new ways of working, prioritizes product flow objectives, manages error correction, identifies opportunities to improve service levels, supports end-to-end costing and lean concepts, provides cost reduction recommendations, and analyzes the impact of changes. The role drives the execution of business plans and projects by identifying needs, developing plans, removing barriers, providing resources, setting standards, measuring progress, developing contingency plans, and demonstrating adaptability. Finally, the Senior Manager provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through selection, training, mentoring, assigning duties, building a team, setting expectations, conducting evaluations, providing recognition, coaching, and promoting a culture of belonging. They also promote and support company policies, values, and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and utilizing the Open Door Policy. This role ensures business needs are met by evaluating current plans, consulting with partners, soliciting suggestions for improvement, and participating in community outreach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
  • 2 years’ experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manages end-to-end supply chain processes and ensures merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment centers by directing resolutions and responding to escalations of daily issues.
  • Analyzes data from multiple stakeholders to streamline and improve network efficiencies.
  • Provides data for the supplier compliance process flow.
  • Researches and analyzes root cause of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and return related issues.
  • Conducts performance reviews of merchandising department, distribution centers, and suppliers.
  • Oversees relationships with external parties by serving as the main point of contact for external partners.
  • Communicates expectations and agreements to external partners.
  • Consolidates and communicates relevant findings and information to external stakeholders.
  • Leads audit processes to ensure external partners comply with company standards and agreements.
  • Utilizes quarterly scorecards to measure and correct performance.

  • Improves supply chain execution by approving a flow path channel from supplier to store to best fit sales, in-stock, and profit metrics.
  • Collaborates between supply chain stakeholders to ensure sales, in-stock, inventory, profitability, and strategy goals are achieved.
  • Tracks the movement and arrival of goods across the supply chain.
  • Presents recommendations to address conflicting goals.
  • Identifies order exceptions, disruptions, and supply chain constraints that will impact supply chain execution.
  • Develops and coordinates a resolution for identified issues.
  • Drives field-level direction and provides guidance for the execution of operations by supervising the liaison for the field.
  • Communicates operational expectations to suppliers and transporters.
