About The Position

The Senior Manager of Supply Chain Finance is a key member of the Refresco North America Operations and Supply Chain Finance leadership team and is responsible for leading financial planning, analytics, and reporting processes for the Refresco North America network to support improved cost management, cost reporting and EBITDA growth. This role is responsible for ensuring integrity and accuracy of the company’s monthly financial reporting and analysis to support optimal working capital management. This role partners with Supply Chain to support all aspects of financial budget and forecast, as well as Procurement, Plant Operations and Operations Finance teams to provide financially driven business guidance. This role also supports related Supply Chain and Operational systems enhancements, integrations, and supports the reporting, compliance and process integration for new acquisitions to ensure Refresco best practices are firmly embedded. These activities are all critical to executing the Company’s key strategic initiatives and while the needs and focus of the organization may fluctuate at any given moment, the weight of each of these responsibilities is equally shared. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain Finance.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power Suite.
  • Authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship
  • B.S. / B.A. degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • 8 or more years related work experience in manufacturing or industrial environment. Food related manufacturing a plus.
  • 3 years staff management and leadership
  • Experience working in an SAP environment

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cost visibility to Supply Chain Financials and underlying Inventory & Logistics cost drivers including but not limited to: Transfer Freight, Aged Inventory, Stock Movement, Dunnage, and Warehousing costs (Leases, Storage, Shuttles, Equipment and Labor).
  • Educate, support, and drive compliance with supply chain processes for logistics and inventory to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Lead development, consolidation, and presentation of all Supply Chain financial planning for Annual Operating Plan (AOP), 3+9, 8+4, 3YP and variances to weekly (LE) and monthly (S&OP) estimates
  • Provide insight to cross functional teams of the impact created from operational activities, changes in sales and operating plan (S&OP) and changes in sales and execution plan (S&OE), and variance analysis to key cost drivers impacting Supply Chain financials
  • Monitor North America Supply Chain KPI’s to ensure full cost visibility of financial impact, risks and opportunities from operational activities
  • Monitor and take corrective action relating to reconciliations and other accounts pertaining to inventory and freight
  • Serve as liaison with external pallet vendors for annual pallet audits, monitoring external vendor reporting to ensure accuracy, process compliance and adherence to contractual obligations
  • Support internal audit activities at plant locations as required and external audit activities for annual financial statement audit
  • Support SOX controls testing and audit activities as required to ensure compliance
  • Support full integration of financial reporting for new plants from acquisition to Refresco network
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to identify and recommend process improvements that will deliver financial benefits or mitigate financial risks for inventory and logistics activities.
  • Lead preparation of Board related materials to include full visibility to financial impacts of network leasing strategy to support improved cost and capital management.
  • Support Finance and Supply Chain projects on an adhoc basis including user acceptance testing, validation and documentation
  • Validate and test system changes pertaining to supply chain finance processes
  • Support Supply Chain business partners in identification, definition, and adherence to critical business processes impacting financials and ensures compliance with SOX controls
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute process documentation
  • Troubleshoot Supply Chain reporting related issues
  • Manage 3 to 4 direct reports with responsibility for inventory and logistics financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Responsible for the personal development of the team members to ensure success in current roles and be considered potential candidates for future growth opportunities.
  • Continuously manage the team and team priorities to ensure prioritization and delivery of objectives while supporting the changing needs of the business and operations.
