Senior Manager, Strategic Finance

RADARSan Francisco, CA
$180,000 - $240,000

About The Position

This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of finance and company strategy at a pivotal moment in RADAR's growth. As Senior Manager, Strategic Finance, you will work directly with the CFO and executive team on the company's most important and complex strategic questions — from how we price our product and enter new markets, to how we allocate capital and tell our story to investors. This is a generalist role by design. You will move fluidly between projects, bringing analytical rigor, intellectual curiosity, and sound business judgment to a wide range of initiatives. One week you may be building a market sizing model for a new vertical; the next you may be developing a capital allocation framework or preparing materials for a fundraise. You will need to be comfortable with ambiguity, fast on your feet, and able to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations. This role is designed to grow with you. High performers will develop deep expertise across strategic finance and operations, build visibility with senior leadership, and be well-positioned to take on broader responsibility as RADAR scales.

Requirements

  • Between 2- 4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, management consulting combined with 5+ years of high-caliber strategic finance experience a technology company
  • Exceptional financial modeling skills — can build complex, multi-scenario models from scratch and communicate the output clearly to non-finance audiences
  • Strong generalist instincts — comfortable moving across pricing, market sizing, capital allocation, and competitive analysis without needing to specialize in any one area

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex analyses into crisp executive-level narratives
  • High intellectual horsepower — quickly grasps new concepts, industries, and business models; doesn't need the same thing explained twice
  • High agency and ownership mindset — a self-starter who moves fast, takes initiative, and holds themselves accountable to outcomes
  • Low ego, collaborative, coachable — thrives in a team environment and builds trust across functions quickly
  • Operates effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; adapts without losing rigor or attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field

  • AI-proficient and enthusiastic about testing and adopting new tools to improve analytical workflows

  • Support the CFO and executive team on a rotating portfolio of high-priority projects; operate with a high degree of autonomy and deliver with minimal hand-holding.
  • Build frameworks that bring structure to ambiguous problems and enable faster, more confident decision-making across the organization.

  • Develop international market prioritization frameworks that help the company make disciplined decisions about where and when to expand.
  • Build ROI models and investment frameworks that help the leadership team evaluate competing priorities and allocate resources to their highest-impact use.
  • Develop business case analyses for major strategic initiatives — new product lines, partnerships, infrastructure investments, and headcount plans.
  • Track outcomes against investment theses; help the organization build a culture of financial accountability around strategic spending.
  • Support fundraising processes end to end — financial model preparation, investor narrative development and due diligence support.
  • Help develop and maintain the company's long-range financial plan and the financial story that underpins it.
  • Help prepare materials for board meetings and investor updates, ensuring the financial narrative is clear, compelling, and consistent.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to inform strategic decisions — sizing markets, benchmarking competitors, and identifying industry trends relevant to RADAR's roadmap.
  • Synthesize external research and internal data into concise, executive-ready insights that sharpen RADAR's strategic point of view.
