About The Position

Vantor is hiring a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance and Business Operations for its corporate office in Westminster, Colorado. The role works in-office Tuesday through Thursday and remotely on Mondays and Fridays. The position partners with executive leaders to evaluate investments, understand business performance, and turn financial and operational data into clear decisions. It combines financial modeling, investment governance, and business partnership with efforts to modernize finance planning and reporting through automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled tools.

The successful candidate will build business cases for capital projects and strategic investments, develop driver-based plans and scenarios, improve capital tracking and capitalization decisions, analyze operating expenses and headcount, and make recommendations to business leaders. They will also create analyses, dashboards, and presentations for executive discussions and implement improvements to recurring finance workflows. Candidates must be U.S. citizens. The position is incentive eligible, with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results.

Requirements

• U.S. citizen.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, accounting, strategic finance, business operations, or a related analytical role, including ownership of financial models and business recommendations. An MBA in Finance or Accounting may substitute for experience; candidates with a strong academic background and three years of experience will also be considered.
• Strong financial modeling skills and solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including accruals, capitalization, depreciation, and the connections among financial statements.
• Ability to distill substantial financial and operational data into clear insights and supported recommendations, while explaining assumptions and uncertainty.
• Confidence working with business leaders, asking thoughtful questions, and constructively challenging assumptions.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems or large datasets.
• Practical understanding of how AI can improve financial analysis and workflows, including initiative to test approaches, validate outputs, and implement repeatable tools and processes that deliver measurable improvements.
• Initiative, attention to detail, and ability to take an open-ended question through analysis, recommendation, and follow-through.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related analytical field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Build business cases for capital projects and strategic investments; evaluate assumptions, risks, and returns; recommend resource commitments; and track outcomes.
• Develop driver-based plans, forecasts, and scenarios to help leaders evaluate options and understand the financial effects of changes in spending, staffing, timing, and execution.
• Partner with project owners in engineering, IT, facilities, and other functions, as well as accounting, to clarify project costs, improve capital tracking, and support sound capitalization decisions.
• Analyze headcount, operating expenses, and project spending to identify performance drivers, emerging risks, and opportunities; work with business partners to implement recommendations.
• Translate financial and operational data into clear recommendations, analyses, dashboards, and presentations for executive decision-making.
• Improve finance planning and reporting by replacing manual, Excel-heavy workflows with AI-enabled tools and purpose-built solutions, and implement repeatable improvements to accuracy, efficiency, and usefulness.
