The Senior Manager, Strategic Enablement & Portfolio Integration is a senior member of the Transformation & Strategy division within the VPFO (Vice-President Finance & Operations) portfolio at UBC. The VPFO portfolio comprises approximately 1,400 team members responsible for the stewardship of UBC’s physical and financial assets. This role is crucial for advancing cross-campus strategic initiatives and ensuring the coordinated execution of VPFO modernization priorities. Reporting to the Associate Director, the position operates at the intersection of enterprise strategy and implementation, leading cross-campus integration efforts across UBC Vancouver (UBCV) and UBC Okanagan (UBCO). The Senior Manager is responsible for aligning multi-initiative dependencies within the modernization portfolio and translating strategic intent into structured, executable delivery plans. The role involves exercising authority over assigned budgets, resource allocation, and cross-functional delivery teams, and is accountable for the strategic management and execution of a broad range of administrative initiatives. Key responsibilities include making decisions on prioritization, resource deployment, and implementation sequencing to ensure alignment with institutional strategy and operational objectives. This position is based in Kelowna, BC at the UBC Okanagan campus, reporting to the Transformation & Strategy team located at UBC Vancouver.
