About The Position

The Senior Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics, leads the development and execution of compliance testing strategies across the Global Marketplace and eCommerce Compliance organization. This role involves monitoring compliance controls, conducting gap analyses, and advising leadership on areas of opportunities and compliance risks. The position requires monitoring policy adherence, compliance training, and performance evaluation while fostering a culture of integrity and accountability. The role also includes driving continuous improvement to ensure adherence to laws, policies, and company standards across the business. The team leads the design and implementation of the Global Marketplace & eCommerce Compliance (GMEC) level two monitoring and testing program. This role focuses on establishing a data-driven framework to ensure consistent control execution, proactively identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, the team matures controls, aligns enterprise standards, and maintains effective monitoring. It emphasizes governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and policy development to support a robust compliance program that mitigates risk and promotes operational excellence across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in compliance or risk management functions, including experience designing and overseeing monitoring and testing programs.
  • Experience with design and execution of compliance monitoring and testing programs.
  • Experience with quality assurance and quality control testing.
  • Experience creating presentations and communicating to executive audiences.
  • Proven ability to drive results through influence, accountability, and stakeholder alignment across multiple business functions.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously and operating in a complex collaborative corporate structure with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with compliance regulations, such as those overseen by the CPSC, FTC, DOE, EPA, FCC.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.
  • 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously enhance the GMEC monitoring and testing program (to include quality control and quality assurance), including methodology, governance, and execution standards.
  • Develop and lead a risk-based monitoring and testing strategy to evaluate control design and operating effectiveness across Global Marketplace and eCommerce Operations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with business, product, technology, and legal stakeholders to identify control gaps, drive remediation efforts, and strengthen overall compliance posture.
  • Establish reporting frameworks, key metrics, and communication channels to provide transparency into control performance, trends, and emerging risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements, automation opportunities, and scalable solutions to support program maturity and growth.
