About The Position

Support Pratt & Whitney’s Government Security Compliance department as a Special Programs Security Manager responsible for the implementation and oversight of a Special Access national security program. The selected candidate will be assigned to the Special Access Programs Security Office.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree and 7+ years of Security, Military or Defense experience, or government regulated environment; OR Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree (or 2-year technical training) and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma and 12+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience must include 5+ years working directly in Industrial Security field.
  • Active US Government Security Clearance, SECRET level or higher.
  • Ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance with SAP/SCI access.
  • Ability to meet enhanced security requirements to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience implementing the DoD SAP Security Manual
  • Familiarization with the ICD-705 Technical Specifications for SCIFs
  • Experience with DISS, NISS, SIMS, JADE, or similar databases
  • Working knowledge of DoD SAP and SCI programs to provide procedural and policy guidance
  • Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Government Security Compliance mission by assisting with full scope implementation of the Department of Defense Special Access Program Security Manual, company Standard Operating Procedures and additional contractual security requirements.
  • Have primary CSSO responsibility for a portfolio of special access programs.
  • Responsible for the execution of core compliance processes related to PERSEC, information security, Top Secret accountability, contracting and security management.
  • Collaborate with industrial security, cybersecurity and program leadership for the development, implementation and achievement of program unique security goals and requirements.
  • Develop and implement program specific security plans such as OPSEC, PPIP, test plans and outside work agreements.
  • Assist in the completion of annual and event-based security compliance inspections and audits.
  • Mentor and supervise assigned CSSOs and alternate CSSOs in their performance of duties and responsibilities.
