About The Position

Publica by IAS is the leading Advertising Platform for Connected Television (CTV). As audiences shift from Cable TV to Digital, Publica’s goal is to power the next generation of ad experiences on the big screen. The core of our platform is an Over-the-top (OTT) Header Bidding solution that enables publishers to run a unified auction between their direct sales and 65+ video Sell Side Platforms (SSPs). In addition, we provide an Audience Management solution based on our integration with data partners as well as a Server-Side Ad Insertion solution. The Senior Manager, Solutions Architect will have strong technical aptitude, problem solving skills, critical thinking, and communication skills that can oversee all aspects of customer service as they leverage Publica to power their CTV/OTT video business. You will be engaging with customers regularly, deep diving into data and running analyses, responding to a wide range of customer inquiries, becoming an expert with all products, funneling feedback from clients to our product and engineering team, and ultimately be responsible for the growth of accounts.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of ad tech experience with a solid track record of delivering best in class customer service.
  • At least 5 years of direct manager experience.
  • Strong command and knowledge of video ad serving, openRTB, SSAI, header bidding, programmatic advertising, and the technologies that power them all.
  • Experience working with high touch and highly technical clients to understand their needs and working with different teams to resolve issues from pre-sales all the way to post-sales and full scale implementation across enterprise clients.
  • Exposure in a multitude of ad tech user interfaces (ie ad servers, SSP platforms, DSP platforms, etc).
  • Proven experience with object oriented programming, tool development, and automation.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a persuasive and success-driven personality.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to take complicated technical concepts and explain them in a straightforward way across the full organization of the customer - end user to the c-suite.
  • Combination of excellent technical, product, and business skills.
  • Passion for documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of customer service as they leverage Publica to power their CTV/OTT video business.
  • Engage with customers regularly.
  • Deep dive into data and run analyses.
  • Respond to a wide range of customer inquiries.
  • Become an expert with all products.
  • Funnel feedback from clients to our product and engineering team.
  • Be responsible for the growth of accounts.
  • Manage the Technical Account Managers (three team members).
  • Have own assigned accounts.
  • Deliver insights by way of data, reports, and/or presentations by working with large data sets and the tools to query them (MySQL, Amazon Athena).
  • Drive projects forward and identify areas for improvements, both internally and externally.
  • Mentor junior talent.
