Senior Manager, Software
About The Position
We are looking for a Software Development Manager to oversee our development team. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science, as well as several years of experience in the field. We prefer candidates who have spent some of this time in a leadership position. In this role, you will hire new development staff, oversee each aspect of the development process, and act as the liaison between your team and upper management. You should be skilled in different programming languages, such as C#, SQL and Angular. You should also be familiar with PaaS, SaaS and native .Net development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, equivalent Engineering degree or commensurate experience (required)
- 10-15 years of software development experience
- 5-10 years of management experience
- Experience with managing a team of engineers, conducting performance reviews, and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated ability to take products through full life cycle from concept to production and sustaining
- Experience with two or more Java Script frameworks is required: Angular, Bootstrap, Backbone, Knockout or Vue are preferred
- Demonstrated experience with creating cyber safe web applications
- Hands on experience with and solid understanding of object-oriented principles
- 10+ years of experience with C#
- 10+ Java Script, HTML, HTML5, CSS2, CSS3
- Experience with delivering rich SPA based solutions
- 10+ years of experience with MVC, Web API
- Experience with ASP.NET Razor and Razor Pages
- Experience with .NET Core
- Azure and/or AWS experience
- Experience in developing Response User Interfaces
- Good understanding of Web Forms
- Experience with SQL Server and database programming
- Experience with Node.js
- 5+ years of Windows desktop development using .NET
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with PHP
- Experience with C/C++

- Experience with Docker (preferred)
- Experience with MySQL (preferred)
- Experience with Testing Frameworks and Test Automation (preferred)
- Experience with .NET for Linux/Ubuntu/Mac (preferred)
