Requirements

Strong understanding of Systems & Networking: TCP/UDP, QoS, WAN optimization, Windows OS internals
Leadership Experience managing engineering or platform teams
Ability to drive architecture and long-term vision
8–15+ years in Citrix / VDI / virtualization
Experience designing large-scale Citrix environments
Strong debugging and performance engineering background

Responsibilities

Define and drive HDX strategy across enterprise VDI/DaaS environments
Architect solutions around ICA/HDX protocols (EDT, TCP, UDP optimization)
Design for high-definition user experience across devices and networks
Lead teams working on: HDX protocol enhancements, Virtual channel development, Client-server performance tuning
Mentor engineers and drive design reviews
Collaborate with Networking teams (ADC / NetScaler), Cloud teams (Azure, AWS DaaS), and Product & PM teams
Forecast user load and bandwidth needs
Optimize server density and cost efficiency
Ensure consistent experience at scale
Ensure secure HDX transport (TLS, Secure ICA)
Define policies for data protection and endpoint control
