Senior Manager, Software Engineering
About The Position
The Senior Manager - Engineering leads software development and quality assurance teams delivering enterprise Supply Chain Finance solutions, strategic product capabilities, and client-funded enhancements. The role combines engineering leadership, delivery ownership, Supply Chain Finance domain knowledge, and client engagement. Working with Product, Architecture, and Professional Services, the Senior Manager translates business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable product capabilities. The position owns engineering delivery from requirements and solution design through development, testing, release, and production readiness. It also guides teams in turning client-funded requirements into reusable and configurable product capabilities while minimizing unnecessary client-specific customization, and ensures delivery meets security, performance, scalability, resilience, and supportability standards. The role is based in Jacksonville, Florida, with a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days virtual. Current and future sponsorship are not available.
Requirements
- 12 or more years of overall experience and 5 or more years of engineering leadership experience managing software development and quality assurance teams.
- Significant experience delivering complex enterprise software products and solutions.
- Experience delivering client-funded development or customer-driven product enhancements.
- Strong technical background in Java/J2EE and Core Java, enterprise integration, APIs and services, databases, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, modern engineering practices, Agile or Lean development, and the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle.
- Strong delivery, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Supply Chain Finance, Trade Finance, Working Capital, or commercial banking technology, including working with banks, financial institutions, corporate buyers, or suppliers.
- Experience turning client-funded requirements into reusable product capabilities and working with globally distributed engineering and client teams.
- Experience with microservices, REST APIs, containerized platforms, continuous integration and continuous delivery, DevSecOps, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, or modern web technologies.

- Manage scope, milestones, quality, and delivery commitments.
- Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, resilience, and supportability standards.
