About The Position

The Oracle Threat Intelligence Center is responsible for the tracking and monitoring of a range of threat actors from cybercrime to Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) groups impacting Oracle and its customers. The scope and responsibility of this team includes attack analysis, tracking threat actor's indicators of compromise (IOCs) and their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), aiding in security incident response, executive communication, and customer outreach. As a Senior Manager for the Signals Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the creation of innovative technologies to help identify the bad guys in the environment as well as those abusing Oracle resources. This includes creating and maintaining large-scale malware triage systems, Agentic-driven intelligence platforms, a Threat Intelligence MCP server, cloud forensic technologies, and software supply chain risks. Also guides employees on using advanced tools and techniques for data security such as encryption, hashing, masking, and access management to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Cloud architecture
Background in large-scale security systems development for major hyperscale clouds (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP)
Deep understanding of threat intelligence and cybersecurity space including tracking of tactics, techniques, and procedures of adversaries
Background in static and dynamic malware analysis and research.
Reverse Engineering skills a plus.
Background in dead-box forensic
Scalability experience to serve needs of major international organization

Responsibilities

Guides the development of large scales system to support the Oracle Threat Intelligence Center and the Cyber Defense Center
Guides the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, processes, and procedures. Ensures the availability and resilience of critical systems and data, overseeing efforts to withstand disruptions. Directs readiness assessments for certifications and audits, implementing improvements to meet evolving standards.
Knowledge of how to use structured queries to pull data from logs and be able to formulate signatures such as YARA, Snort, Suricata, Bro/Zeek successfully
Drives industry security knowledge advancement, fostering research and innovation efforts. Aligns the team on emerging trends, ensuring shared knowledge of evolving threats and vulnerabilities. Promotes novel techniques to solve unique security problems, encouraging creative and effective solutions.
Understanding of MCP deployment and maintenance of system from database and RBAC perspective
Manages multiple medium- to large-scale projects or initiatives across teams, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets when applicable are monitored and met. Provides direction to teams on project work, setting priorities, and aligning with business needs. Guides teams on adjusting plans to accommodate resource or timeline changes.
Drives cross-functional partnerships to align expectations and shared objectives across multiple teams. Coaches team members to develop strategic relationships with business leaders, stakeholders, and external partners to foster collaboration and long-term success. Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
