About The Position

Join Applied Global Services (AGS) at an exciting time as we expand our service business through managed services, lifecycle solutions, advanced analytics, and outcome-based customer engagements. This high-impact marketing role sits at the intersection of semiconductor technology, customer engagement, business strategy, and commercialization. You will help shape how Applied delivers value beyond equipment by driving adoption of service-led solutions that improve customer productivity, reliability, cost of ownership, and sustainability outcomes. In this role, you will partner closely with customers and cross-functional teams across Product Management, Service Business Units, Engineering, Sales, and Field Organizations to identify market opportunities, develop compelling value propositions, and drive growth across Applied’s global installed base. This role is ideal for technical leaders who want to broaden their business impact, gain executive visibility, and influence the future direction of Applied's services portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment engineering, process engineering, product management, service operations, technical marketing, business development, customer engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of wafer fab operations, semiconductor manufacturing environments, equipment lifecycle management, and customer production challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with technical teams, operations leaders, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience developing customer value propositions, business cases, commercialization plans, or growth strategies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing outcomes in a matrix organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with semiconductor services, lifecycle solutions, service agreements, managed services, or aftermarket business models.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor process technologies, equipment operations, or fab manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, strategic account support, or executive customer engagements.
  • Understanding of equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, lifecycle optimization, or operational excellence programs.
  • Familiarity with recurring revenue models, predictive analytics, digital services, or outcome-based service offerings.
  • MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent combination of technical and business experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the adoption and growth of AGS service offerings across strategic customers and market segments.
  • Develop customer-centric value propositions that demonstrate measurable business outcomes, including improvements in equipment performance, uptime, productivity, reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and cost of ownership.
  • Engage customers and field organizations to understand operational challenges, maintenance strategies, and opportunities for service-led value creation.
  • Develop commercialization strategies, market requirements, and customer engagement plans that accelerate adoption of managed services, lifecycle offerings, and recurring-service solutions.
  • Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives, market assessments, and installed-base analyses to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop business cases, ROI/TCO analyses, executive presentations, and customer value assessments.
  • Partner across Product Management, Service Business Units, Engineering, Pricing, Revenue Operations, Sales, and Field teams to align offerings with customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Create customer-facing messaging, value-selling tools, case studies, and sales enablement content.
  • Support executive customer engagements, strategic account planning, and growth initiatives through a combination of technical credibility and business storytelling.
  • Influence portfolio strategy and investment priorities through customer insights, market intelligence, and industry expertise.
