About The Position

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager to join the Field Activation & Communication organization to help strengthen how we support Sales in a rapidly changing PBM environment. This role brings together sales enablement, PBM and pricing knowledge, data-driven insight creation, and practical AI application to support colleagues, customers, and business priorities. This colleague will help translate complex market, client, and operational dynamics into clear strategies, actionable tools, and high-value support for the field. The role requires strong judgment, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the ability to move work forward in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. The ideal candidate combines PBM expertise, strategic thinking, and a builder’s mindset. They are able to simplify complexity, partner effectively across teams, and apply AI in ways that improve field effectiveness and client value. They will also model the mindset of an Agile Learner by continuously seeking new knowledge, adapting to change, and applying learning quickly to improve performance and outcomes. This role is also well-suited for a colleague who Champions AI by boldly driving AI and emerging technology adoption, embracing hands-on use in day-to-day work, and contributing meaningfully to building AI literacy across PSS Sales and Account teams. Location is flexible and work from home.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in Sales, Consulting, Strategy, Analytics (Any other Roles that are relatable)
  • 1+ years PBM industry knowledge, including familiarity with: PBM pricing models, Data and reporting analytics, Client and consultant dynamics
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Health Admin, Economics, Data/Analytics, or similar) or equivalent professional work experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives that support Sales and account teams as PBM, regulatory, and marketplace dynamics evolve.
  • Translate complex PBM topics, including pricing models, reporting structures, and analytics, into clear, actionable guidance for internal stakeholders.
  • Anticipate client and consultant priorities and adjust enablement strategies to support sales effectiveness.
  • Help shape the future by navigating complexity and translating enterprise strategy into clear, actionable priorities for the field.
  • Use AI tools to streamline workflows, accelerate insight generation, and improve field and client experiences.
  • Identify, test, and scale practical AI-powered use cases across the sales enablement ecosystem.
  • Contribute to AI agent, workflow automation, or related innovation efforts in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Champion thoughtful, responsible AI adoption in ways that strengthen how the team operates.
  • Help build AI literacy across PSS Sales and Account teams through example, experimentation, and practical application.
  • Partner with analytics and reporting teams to interpret PBM data and translate findings into strategic insights.
  • Use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities affecting clients, the field, and the broader business.
  • Balance speed and rigor when making recommendations in environments where information may be incomplete.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Legal, Regulatory, Analytics, and Technology teams to deliver aligned outcomes.
  • Own work from problem definition through execution with a high degree of independence.
  • Prepare clear updates, recommendations, and talking points for senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple initiatives while maintaining quality, momentum, and credibility.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and emerging issues without losing strategic focus.
  • Bring calm, clarity, and decisiveness under time pressure.
