About The Position

Directs efforts to improve the safety of associates and customers across all business segments by identifying risks, developing data-driven solutions, and enhancing overall safety conditions. Leads the development and deployment of effective safety strategies in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Conducts safety risk assessments to identify hazards, evaluate operational impact, and prioritize mitigation efforts. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather insights and support comprehensive risk evaluations. Supports General Contracting safety through field-based leadership, compliance oversight, and program development. Conducts Level 1 field monitoring and supports a safety strategy that includes approximately 50% travel to inspect job sites, perform audits, deliver training, manage incident reporting, and support program build-out activities. Partners with stakeholders to support monitoring efforts and contract safety strategies aligned with business needs. Oversees OSHA log support. Manages research related to high-impact regulatory issues and serves as a subject-matter expert to the business on proposed policies and relevant provisions. Oversees third-party research and development studies, identifies stakeholders impacted by policy changes, monitors global regulatory trends, and leads impact assessments. Evaluates research findings and predictive trends to develop recommendations for leadership. Uses data and insights to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern related to workplace safety. Analyzes injury reports, safety metrics, and stakeholder feedback to develop and refine safety strategies and interventions. Prepares and delivers data-driven reports and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Stays current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and leading practices in workplace safety and ergonomics, and drives the adoption of innovative solutions. Develops recommendations for corporate positions on broad issues by synthesizing research into clear, refined messaging for leadership review. Leads the analysis, reconciliation, and summarization of background research, formalizes statements in response to issues and concerns, and presents impact analyses to leadership. Drives the execution of business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating priorities; removing barriers to execution; providing resources; establishing performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting plans as needed; and supporting continuous learning and adaptability. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting, training, mentoring, and assigning responsibilities; building a team-based work environment; setting clear performance expectations; conducting performance evaluations; recognizing contributions; coaching for growth and improvement; and fostering a culture of belonging. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, occupational health and safety, industrial engineering, or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience in safety program management.

Nice To Haves

  • CSP or ASP Certifications.
  • Prior work experience in safety management and ergonomic assessment tools and software.
  • Prior work experience in safety principles, regulations, and best practices.
