About The Position

The Global Risk Solutions (GRS) Cyber Risk Engineering (CRE) team is seeking a leader to manage their Cyber Risk Engineers (CREs) and consult with underwriters on the technical risks of organizations seeking cyber insurance. This role involves bridging communication between stakeholders (underwriters, CISOs, and security-savvy agents/brokers) and contributing to the development of tools, services, and processes. The cyber insurance market is experiencing significant growth, and this position is crucial for understanding individual organizations' technical risk profiles, which is essential for underwriting cyber insurance. The role also includes providing educational services to clients to help them manage their cyber risk and supporting loss control efforts. The CRE team collaborates with product, cyber strategy, underwriting, and other teams within the Global Cyber Office. Their responsibilities include helping underwriters understand and attract cyber insurance clients, assisting clients in managing and improving their security, and designing technical tools to enhance efficiency in these areas. The position offers the reward of creating win/win/win solutions where the company's, partners', and clients' incentives align towards a safer and more secure world. The hiring process will involve multiple interview rounds with individuals from security, underwriting, and leadership backgrounds, focusing on open-ended questions rather than tests. If the selected candidate resides within 50 miles of a GRS office, they will be expected to work in the office up to three days per week.
