About the Team As a Product Manager within the Nexus Risk Data Products organization, you will be joining a team critical to driving the data strategy for the Enterprise Risk Organization (ERO). Our vision is to be the preferred data provider for Enterprise Risk, serving authoritative data products through an intuitive user experience, to power real-time, intelligent risk management. We produce data products that are highly trusted, AI ready, and simpler to manage by centralizing and standardizing data solutions across Enterprise Risk through a modernized data solution. As a Product Manager in the Nexus Risk Data Products team, you will: Lead a team of product managers and data analysts Collaborate with internal and external partners to research, ideate, and deliver reusable data products Apply discovery and research techniques to identify internal customer pain points Break down business epics into features and further into user stories Write acceptance criteria and lead refinement efforts with the engineering team Evaluate and explore new technical approaches to solve customer needs Drive day-to-day prioritization of work, troubleshoot reported issues, and oversee releases Research and troubleshoot data-related issues from the data user communities Conduct data analysis to drive insights into new product features Capital One Product Framework In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management: Human Centered - Obsesses about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions Business Focused - Delivers game-changing outcomes by focusing on leverage and execution excellence Technology Driven - Leverages technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term value Integrated Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks Transformational Leadership - Leads cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment

Requirements

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing OR Bachelor's degree in any field and 4 years of Product Management experience
