About The Position

The Senior Manager, Retail Safety and Analytics leads safety programs for North America retail and office environments, manages global safety reporting systems, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves cross-functional project management, incident investigation, training development, and data-driven safety analytics. This role will define and drive the enterprise retail safety strategy and multi-year roadmap across North America, evolving programs and operating models in response to risk trends and business needs. Responsible for Retail Safety outcomes across North America retail and office environments. Lead cross-functional safety initiatives and program rollouts across Retail Brands, Workplace Environments, HR, Legal, Risk, and Asset Protection. Own audit strategy and regulatory readiness, including facility audits, gap identification, remediation, and sustained compliance. Oversee regulatory response efforts (OSHA, MOL, and other agencies), including formal communications and readiness protocols. Provide enterprise oversight of incident investigations, ensuring corrective and preventive actions reduce systemic risk. Own global safety analytics and KPI strategy, including leading and lagging indicators used to guide proactive risk prevention. Track safety trends and drive risk mitigation efforts. Develop executive-ready dashboards and narratives for senior leadership and Board Audit Committee reporting. Serve as global owner of VF’s Safety Management System, including system strategy, vendor management, enhancements, training, access governance, and scalable expansion. Develop and deploy enterprise training and enablement models; responsible for designing and deploying enterprise-wide safety training and enablement frameworks, including train-the-trainer programs that go beyond basic compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience and professional achievements.
  • Role responsibilities at a global level.
  • Exceptional judgment and attention to detail to establish, organize and monitor programs and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Superior communication skills to resolve critical issues as they arise.
  • Ability to recognize and escalate inconsistent health practices and achieve rapid resolution with internal and external parties.
  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills; ability to assist in implementing execution strategies and methodologies.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
