Neara is hiring a hands-on communications leader to own its US communications strategy and execution. The role turns the company’s technology, customer and societal impact, and proprietary perspective into stories that matter to customers, policymakers, partners, investors, prospective talent, and people who depend on critical infrastructure. The person in this role will develop stories and campaigns end to end—from identifying the angle and sharpening the thesis to writing, pitching reporters, preparing spokespeople, and securing coverage. This is not primarily an agency-management role; the successful candidate will personally own the ideas, output, and relationships that drive impact. The role will build Neara’s authority across relevant stakeholders and strategic conversations, establish a distinctive and consistent storytelling pipeline, cultivate journalist and industry relationships, and develop a diverse bench of credible US spokespeople. It will also create a rapid-response process for timely commentary, build cross-functional partnerships to surface externally relevant insights, apply rigorous editorial and reputational judgment, and define impact metrics tied to narrative penetration, coverage quality, and strategic influence.
