About The Position

This role assists with the planning, execution, and ongoing management of catering services across U.S. corporate campus locations. Responsibilities include supporting food service delivery for meetings, events, and onsite programs across Walmart's corporate campus spaces in Northwest Arkansas. The position supports current operations while contributing to the growth and evolution of the catering program aligned with business needs. Business needs are ensured by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of catering plans, programs, and service models. This role partners closely with internal business partners, managers, co‑workers, and key stakeholders to deliver reliable, high‑quality catering solutions that support associate experience and productivity. This position is part of the Corporate Real Estate team, which is responsible for planning, building, and operating all of the corporate offices across the country, and providing all food, fitness, child care, and mobility amenities.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.
  • Proven expertise in program management with the ability to drive multiple business plans and projects to successful completion.
  • Strong leadership skills in supervising, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, gap analysis, and implementing best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to evaluate program performance and inform decision-making.
  • Adaptability and resilience in managing change and overcoming obstacles.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and other tools to support program execution and reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Managing a budget, profit and loss statement, or relate financial process
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field like (not limited to) project management, compliance, operations management, or related area
  • Project Management Certification

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of campus catering programming and management of third-party food provider
  • Reviewing, approving, and ensuring timely payment of catering invoices
  • Supporting accurate cost tracking
  • Resolving billing discrepancies
  • Partnering with finance and vendors to maintain strong financial controls
  • Additional oversight across key food amenity programs, including the Walmart Grab & Go Market program, coffee shops, and food truck plazas
  • Identifying gaps in food quality, quantity, presentation, and pricing
  • Addressing associate concerns
  • Supporting efficient ordering, delivery, setup, and service execution
