About The Position

This position provides support across all Case Ready assets to assist in controlling expenses; ensure compliance and coordination of federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements; interpret and enforce company policies; maintain non-union programs; assist in the determination of manpower needs and make recommendations; prepare and maintain prescribed records and reports to ensure that they reflect conditions accurately; solve problems in an effective manner with sound follow up; work with department heads across Case Ready operations to meet production quality yields goals and metrics goals while at the same time ensuring the maintenance of labor standards and quality of performance and product; inspect and maintain a high degree of competence in the areas of housekeeping, safety, sanitation, security and food safety; provide guidance and support to leaders and teams through informal and indirect authority and influence; and support designated operations and any other responsibilities as deemed necessary by leadership.

Requirements

  • High School diploma with equivalent experience or college degree preferred.
  • 5 plus years of related industry experience.
  • Experience supporting operations in a meat processing facility Case Ready preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, USDA and HAACP regulations.
  • Standard computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be capable of communicating well both verbally and in writing with all levels of Team Members from hourly to upper management as well as government officials.
  • Leader, problem solver, team player with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills necessary.
  • Excellent safety and attendance records.
  • All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety, including personal safety and food safety.
