About The Position

Autodesk's Technical Advisory organization helps the world's leading architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and media companies get the most from their Autodesk investments. We are transforming this expertise from traditional consulting into a digital-first platform strategy — and the Senior Manager, Product Management will define what that platform becomes. Reporting to the Director of Platform & Productization within Global Delivery & Solutions, you will lead a product management team responsible for Autodesk's digital consulting platform. Your portfolio spans platform capabilities, industry-specific solutions, consulting tools, and packaged services. In the first year, you will launch and land our first digital consulting offering, validating our new consulting model with paying customers. You will establish product management discipline for a maturing capability — discovery practices, prioritization frameworks, go-to-market coordination — while simultaneously delivering product that proves the model works. You own the product strategy and roadmap. You will partner with Content & Knowledge on knowledge readiness and publication decisions, with Architecture and Engineering on technical feasibility and delivery sequencing, and with GTM on market positioning and launch execution. The role sits at the center of the organization, and your ability to hold a coherent product vision while navigating these dependencies will define the platform's success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management with progressive responsibility, including managing product managers
  • 3+ years leading product teams, with demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain strong product talent
  • Experience building digital products or platforms from early stage — defining strategy, launching to market, and iterating based on customer feedback
  • Experience defining product models where the offering combines digital tools and human-delivered services (service catalog, marketplace, or hybrid models)
  • Strong business acumen with ability to connect product decisions to revenue models, customer value, and organizational strategy
  • Experience working with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams in an integrated product development process
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Nice To Haves

  • Has product management experience in professional services, consulting technology, knowledge platforms, or services-to-product transformations
  • Understands how to productize expert knowledge — turning unstructured human expertise into structured, repeatable, scalable offerings, with attention to quality governance and knowledge lifecycle
  • Is skilled at managing a diverse product portfolio with different maturity levels, from new capabilities to scaling existing features
  • Has familiarity with architecture, engineering, construction, operations (AECO), manufacturing, or media and entertainment industries
  • Has an informed perspective on how AI is changing professional services delivery and what that means for product strategy
  • Is energized by building something new and comfortable making product decisions with incomplete information, then adjusting as the team learns

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap · Own the product strategy and roadmap for the digital consulting platform, prioritizing capabilities that deliver measurable customer value while supporting the broader transformation from traditional consulting to scalable digital offerings
  • Translate customer needs, market signals, and field consultant feedback into a coherent product backlog with clear prioritization rationale
  • Partner with the Content & Knowledge team to evaluate which captured implementation knowledge is ready for productization, assessing market value, accuracy, and completeness
  • Define the service catalog product model — how fixed-scope consulting services are packaged, priced, discovered, and delivered through the platform
  • Coordinate with Autodesk product management teams to align platform strategy with product roadmaps, ensuring consulting offerings evolve alongside the products customers are implementing
  • Customer and Market Insight · Establish and maintain direct relationships with customers and design partners to validate product direction and gather continuous feedback
  • Partner with GTM and consulting delivery leadership to build systematic feedback loops between field teams and the product team
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends in professional services, consulting technology, and AI-enabled implementation support to inform product differentiation
  • Define success metrics for platform adoption, usage, and customer outcomes, and use data to drive iterative product improvement
  • Team and Cross-Functional Leadership · Lead and grow a team of product managers who own different areas of the portfolio: platform capabilities, industry solutions, tools, and services
  • Establish product management discipline including discovery practices, prioritization frameworks, stakeholder communication, and go-to-market coordination
  • Partner with Architecture and Engineering to ensure product requirements are technically feasible and well-scoped for iterative delivery
  • Provide executive reporting on product performance, adoption trends, and strategic recommendations
