About The Position

This role is critical in forecasting, portfolio analytics, and business performance management for Tangerine's Small Business Lending portfolio. The Senior Manager will leverage data-driven insights to develop strategies that accelerate growth, enhance client experience, and improve profitability. This position involves collaborative work across Product, Risk, Finance, and Analytics teams to influence key decisions, bring innovative ideas to life, and support the evolution of Tangerine's small business banking offerings. The role champions a client-obsessed culture by helping small business clients achieve their goals through data-driven lending strategies and portfolio management. It also leverages a growth mindset by challenging conventional thinking and continuously improving forecasting, analytics, and business processes. Key responsibilities include leading forecasting, pricing, and portfolio performance management efforts for Tangerine's Small Business Lending portfolio, developing insights and recommendations that support profitable portfolio growth, client acquisition, retention, and engagement, and evaluating market opportunities, portfolio risks, and economic trends to inform business strategies and lending decisions. The role also involves translating complex data and business challenges into actionable insights that influence decision-making at all levels of the organization, driving continuous improvement through strategic thinking, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration, and building and developing a high-performing team while fostering an inclusive, accountable, and results-driven culture. A strong understanding of small business lending products, portfolio economics, risk drivers, and business banking market dynamics is essential.
