Senior Manager, Product Management

About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own a core area of Agentforce Authoring. This role is focused on shaping how enterprises build AI agents, with direct ownership of a significant part of the authoring experience. The ideal candidate will be fluent with coding agents, use them daily, and have a strong point of view on their future. This is an individual contributor role for a hands-on Product Manager who prototypes and evaluates their own ideas and lives within the product they are shipping.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Product Management.
  • Track record of shipping products for technical users (developers, admins, or technical SMEs).
  • Fluent with modern AI tooling.
  • Daily user of coding agents, with experience building and shipping agents.
  • Ability to substantively discuss LLM orchestration, evals, and production agent functionality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate ambiguity into clear direction and rally a team.
  • Sharp product taste and good instincts on what to build and cut.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency across both low-code and developer-first tools, with an understanding of how they should connect.
  • Technical depth: comfortable reading code, reviewing APIs, prototyping in a notebook, and partnering with engineers on trade-offs.
  • Deep familiarity with the current agent-building landscape (Cursor, Claude Code, Replit, Vercel, agent frameworks, eval tools) and a strong opinion on their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Design sense: ability to transform messy systems into clean primitives with opinionated defaults.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap, outcomes, and direction for a specific authoring surface (declarative builders, developer tooling, evaluation, or lifecycle).
  • Turn fuzzy problems into sharp bets with measurable outcomes and discontinue efforts that are not working.
  • Set and defend success metrics (activation, time-to-first-value, evaluation coverage, adoption) and use them to make trade-offs.
  • Prototype with coding agents to pressure-test ideas before writing specifications.
  • Dogfood Agentforce constantly: build, break, and evaluate agents, and bring findings back to the team.
  • Partner with engineering and design through the full product cycle: discovery, prototype, ship, and iterate.
  • Integrate customer research, telemetry, and personal usage into future product development.
  • Work with Enablement, Docs, and Marketing on launches, from pilot through General Availability (GA).
  • Run tight feedback loops with design partners and power users.
  • Coordinate with peer PMs across platform, runtime, evaluation, and client surfaces to ensure cohesive customer experience.
  • Communicate clearly with engineers, designers, executives, and the field.
  • Bring a strong point of view and be willing to change it when data indicates.
